SPbU Student Teams
Student teams are groups of students who are passionate about a common cause. They do most of their volunteer work during school holidays. They are part of the public national youth organisation 'Russian Student Teams', the largest youth association in the country, which provides short-term employment for more than 200,000 young people
The Council represents students' interests when discussing vital issues such as quality of education, the arrangement of study buildings and halls of residence, catering, organisation of extracurricular events, and much more. Details can be found on the website.
You can make a personal contribution to volunteer and charity campaigns and become a volunteer for both university and nationwide projects. Volunteers assist veterans and university students; work with dog shelters and rehabilitation centers.
Areas
Details can be found on the University website and on the VKontakte page.
BSKis a student’s contactless smart card. It allows you to use any city public transportation: subway, bus, tram, and trolleybus.
The BSK provides 100 subway rides, unlimited travel on city buses, trolleys, and trams. The BSK does not apply to commercial transport routes and does not give the right to use taxis.
You can apply for a free pass in case of loss of the breadwinner or for students from large families. For this, you need to go to room 111 of the Rector’s Wing within the first three weeks of September.
While your BSK is being prepared, we recommend getting a temporary 'Course' pass at any subway cashier. Once the student pass is ready, you can get a refund for the 'Course' at any subway station cashier within 45 days from the date of purchase. The card manufacturing period is 10 days.
